The Maker
A story of craft, intention, and wearable art
Every piece of jewelry I create begins as a flat sheet of sterling silver and a vision. Using ancient repoussé and chasing techniques — the same methods used by metalworkers for thousands of years — I bring dimension and life to each piece with specialized punches and hammers.
I hand-select, hand-cut, and hand-polish every semi-precious gemstone, matching each stone perfectly to its custom-designed bezel. The result is jewelry that tells a story — of the earth it came from, the hands that shaped it, and the person who wears it.
Based on the coast of Maine, my studio practice is rooted in slow fashion, sustainability, and deep respect for materials. No two pieces are alike, because no two stones are alike, and no two moments of creation are the same.
The Process
Selection
Each gemstone is hand-selected for its unique character — the play of light, the depth of color, the story it holds
Shaping
Flat sterling silver is raised using repoussé and chasing, creating dimension and texture with every hammer strike
Finishing
Custom patinas and carefully selected polish levels give each piece its final character — dark and moody or bright and luminous
